About the event
Getting your message across to the wider community is vital for garnering support for your Group as well as fostering an understanding and appreciation of what you are trying to achieve for wildlife and why. Achieving community buy-in can make so much more possible.
Websites, Facebook pages and social media channels can provide the most effective means of keeping in touch with both members of your Community Wildlife Group as well as others in your local area. Jack Cripps, communication manager for Suffolk Wildlife Trust, will share with you details of each of the different channels available, the benefits and pitfalls of using different channels and how you can best optimise your communication.
In order to tailor this Community Webinar to the specific needs of attendees, we would be grateful if you could let us have your burning questions when booking your place. We will review these questions two weeks prior to the Webinar, so to help us cover your requirements, please do let us have your questions in time.
This Community Webinar is part of a new series of online events on a range of topics designed to support your Community Wildlife Group. Places are free to Community Wildlife Groups, parish councils, churches and other wildlife action groups in Suffolk. If you wish to join the webinar from another organisation or as an individual, we have made paid places available for you. These help to support Suffolk Wildlife Trust's work to help communities take action for wildlife in the county. Thank you.
The Community Webinar is scheduled to last approximately one and a half hours, including a presentation plus a questions & answers session (to include questions provided and if time, others submitted on the night). Suffolk Wildlife Trust uses the Zoom platform for its webinars and, when you book, you will receive simple instructions on how to join the event from the comfort of your own home. When booking, please input the same email you will be using on the night. Subtitles are available.
TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT, WHETHER PAYING BY PAYPAL OR CREDIT CARD, PLEASE ENSURE YOU SCROLL DOWN TO FILL IN THE BOOKING FORM AND COMPLETE YOUR BOOKING BY PRESSING THE ORANGE 'PLACE BOOKING' BUTTON.
Please ensure you enter your email correctly when booking as we will use this email to send you the links you need to join the Community Webinar via Zoom. Your confirmation details and Zoom access will be specific to the email you submit. If you have any issues with booking your place or receiving the follow-up email, please contact us on community.networks@suffolkwildlifetrust.org.
All paid-for places are non-refundable. Full Terms & Conditions are available on our website via this link.
