Defending nature by encouraging wildlife-friendly planning and advocating for ambitious biodiversity targets and policies that support nature’s recovery across Suffolk.
Development is one of the most significant pressures on wildlife in Suffolk, and historically one of the biggest contributors to habitat loss and landscape fragmentation. To help ensure nature’s voice is heard in planning and decision-making, our Planning & Advocacy team engage with developers and local authorities to promote and advocate for better policies and nature-positive development that protects and increases wildlife.
By engaging in planning and advocating for nature, we hope to protect the wildlife and wild landscapes beyond our nature reserves, and secure positive outcomes for nature in Suffolk.
