About the event

Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced birder, join us for a walk across the Heath and discover which birds we can spot along the way.

Our Assistant Warden will be accompanied by an experienced bird guide to help answer any questions and support your bird ID skills. The pace will be relatively gentle, though it will be a long walk over uneven ground.

Suitable for adults and children aged 10+. 

Time: 10am-12pm

What to bring: warm clothing, sturdy footwear (some areas may be quite muddy), binoculars & bird ID guide (if you have them).

Please note; if the visibility is extremely poor due to weather conditions, we will reschedule.

CAR PARKING: 

Car parking charges have now been reinstated at Knettishall Heath. Complimentary car parking for the duration of the walk is included in the ticket price. Please ensure you have correctly entered your car registration details on the booking form, to ensure you do not receive a Penalty Notice Charge from the carparking company.
