WHAT WE DO

Schools

Suffolk Wildlife Trust has worked with schools across the county for over 40 years, to inspire interest in the natural world and to connect children with Suffolk's wildlife and wild landscapes.

We have three approaches to working with schools: Officer-led schools visits hosted by a member of our Engagement team, self-led visits to our nature reserves, and our Wilder Schools programme - where we work with schools to deliver longer-term education and wildlife projects with students.

Officer-led school visits

We host a range of EYFS, KS1 and KS2 days for schools at many our beautiful nature reserves and in wild landscapes across Suffolk. Led by a member of our Engagement team, our programmes are filled with active learning, hands-on activities, and opportunities to explore in nature.
