Our goal is to harness the collective energy and talents of our county and bring everyone together into a bigger, bolder movement for nature’s recovery. We’re calling this #TeamWilder.
Research shows that if just one person in every four takes up a cause, this can be enough to change the minds and behaviour of the majority. Imagine what we could achieve if that cause was nature: if a quarter of people in Suffolk created more space for wildlife to bring back what we’ve lost.

Our Nextdoor Nature project in Ipswich
Nextdoor Nature aims to empower people to take action for nature in their community in Ipswich. This could include establishing wild habitats and green corridors, to naturalising highly urbanised or unused areas.
The pandemic has demonstrated just how important access to a well-cared for natural environment is to communities across the UK, and Nextdoor Nature will be working with communities who have little, or no access, to green space in their local area and in areas of socio-economically under-resourced areas of Ipswich.
