About the event

Come and join the Coddiwomplers, Stuart and Emma, for a fun relaxed session of willow weaving. The Coddiwomplers are experienced basket makers, school teachers and forest school practitioners.

We'll be using traditional flat weave techniques to make a couple of swallows (a willowy cross between a swift and a swallow), with some leaves as a warm up. Perfect for hanging in the garden, or they look great inside on a wall, or silhouetted in a window. No experience necessary. All tools, materials etc provided.

This course will be outside if the weather is fine, or undercover in the yard if it's looking wet.  Please come suitably prepared for the British weather 

Please bring:

• A mug
• A camera if you wish

Tea and coffee will be served throughout the day and is included in the price.

Please note there is an afternoon session weaving a willow bird house if you wish to fill your day with willow!
