About the event

Do you like engaging with people and spending time outdoors?

Could you have some spare time for volunteering?

We host several volunteer taster days throughout the year. Being an engagement volunteer involves a variety of tasks, and there are many ways to get involved with us. Whether it's leading guided walks and talks, helping with school visits, assisting with weekend birthday parties, working with teens to help them achieve their Duke of Edinburgh awards, or helping out with family sessions or holiday clubs, there's something for every age group imaginable.

During the two-hour volunteer taster session, you will have an opportunity to meet the South-East Engagement Team along with some of our amazing South-East volunteers who can tell you what it is like to volunteer with the Trust.

Suffolk Wildlife Trust believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of wildlife in their daily lives and we are committed to putting equality, diversity and inclusion at the heart of what we do. We welcome volunteer applications from all backgrounds and experiences.
