Join Coddiwomplers Stuart and Emma, experienced willow makers, and create willow bird feeders from a range of designs.
Afternoon workshop.
Under the tuition of 2 experienced basket makers, you will learn some basic skills and techniques of willow weaving to create willow bird feeders for your garden. We’ll be incorporating freshly harvested willow grown locally by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust as well as basketry willow grown in Somerset.
This course is suitable for beginners, so no previous experience is necessary. However, some manual dexterity and hand strength will be required. All materials are provided.
There is a café onsite where you can order a lunch, or bring a packed lunch. Teas and coffees will be upon arrival.
Please note that your booking is non-refundable and non-transferable and we run all our courses based on a minimum number of participants. You can find our full Terms and Conditions here.
