Wild Birthday Parties
Enjoy a wild birthday party with fun outdoor activities at a Suffolk Wildlife Trust nature reserve!
Our Wild Birthday Parties are a great way for your child to celebrate their birthday with friends and family in an outdoor environment, giving them the opportunity to explore, discover, and have lots of fun on our wonderful nature reserves. We can also host birthday parties for big kids and adults!
Activities
We suggest choosing two activities to create your perfect Wild Birthday Party, giving the children enough time for each. If you're finding it tricky to decide, you will have the opportunity to chat with one of our Engagement Officers in the lead up to your party.
- Pond dipping (for 5-11yrs only, available April to October, not available at Bradfield Woods)
- Den building (5-11yrs only)
- Minibeast hunting
- Scavenger hunts & natural art
- Muddy play (for 2-5yrs only)
- Outdoor games

Timings
We have two time slots available for our Wild Birthday Parties: 10:30am-1pm and 2-4:30pm on weekends. Over the summer months, we have additional 4:30pm-7pm slots on weekdays.
Your chosen time slot includes up to 90mins of activities of your choice led by one of our Engagement Officers, 30mins for food and birthday cake, and 30 minutes for clearing up after the party.

Pricing
£180 for maximum 20 children, including the birthday child and any accompanying siblings.
The costs includes: 2.5hrs exclusive hire of a Discovery Room or outdoor space during your slot and 90mins of your chosen activities led by one of our Engagement Officers with all materials and equipment provided. Catering option available for birthday parties at Carlton Marshes at an additional £7.50 per child
