Suffolk Wildlife Trust has worked with schools across the county for over 40 years, to inspire interest in the natural world and to connect children with Suffolk's wildlife and wild landscapes.
We have two different approaches to working with schools: hosting schools visits on our nature reserves with a range of different themed sssions, and our Wilder Schools programme - where we work with schools to deliver longer-term education and wildlife projects with students.
School trips
We host a range of EYFS, KS1 and KS2 sessions for schools at many our beautiful nature reserves and in wild places across Suffolk, filled with outdoor learning, hands-on activities, and opportunities to explore in nature. Choose a location below to find out more:

Wilder Schools
Our Wilder Schools programmme is designed to integrate nature education and outdoor learning into the curriculum to empower children and young people to action for nature and climate. We are working with a number of schools across Suffolk on longer-term projects to embed nature into their curriculum and to improve the school grounds for pupils and wildlife.
