Day 3 - let a corner of your garden grow wild
Wildflowers are a critical habitat - especially for pollinators like butterflies and moths. This means that their presence is vital for the invertebrates hedgehogs will be feasting upon, like caterpillars! Not everyone will have space for a whole wildflower meadow, but could you squeeze in a wildflower patch, strip or section? Long grass too is an important resource for resting hedgehogs through the spring, summer and autumn. Why not leave a patch to grow long - you might be surprised by what starts to flower!
