About the event

Discover the ever-evolving tradition of oral storytelling with professional storyteller Justine de Mierre. This evening is designed for parents, guardians, or even grandparents, to help them discover their inner storytellers Make bedtimes magic again and learn to tell stories that become timeless classics in your household. Justine is a mum herself and knows how special storytime can be and believes everyone is a storyteller, even if they don’t yet know it!

Justine has been a professional performer working with stories for over 25 years. Her storytelling workshops and performances have included schools, prisons, street performance, disability support projects and festivals (including Hay, Edinburgh, Cambridge, Folk East). She was previously Artistic Director of the East Anglian Storytelling Festival, and her international work includes the International Storytelling Festival in Marrakech and Story Seed festival in Timisoara, Romania. She runs regular online storytelling sessions with the World Storytelling Café.
