About the event

Join award-winning professional wildlife photographer, Kevin Sawford, on this introductory workshop in the stunning surroundings of Suffolk Wildlife Trust's rustic foxburrow nature reserve.

Discover the various aspects needed for fantastic wildlife photography such as equipment, camera settings and fieldcraft.

The course will cover how to use your camera's different modes for particular subjects/how to control your depth of field/how your ISO setting affects your camera's settings/how to get the most from your lens/how to correctly expose your shots/how to support your camera to avoid camera shake.

Kevin has run many photography courses for the Trust over the past few years and has had his work published globally in many magazines and newspapers. In 2015 Kevin won the British Wildlife Photography Awards ‘Seasons’ category award with his series of roe deer images and has had other wildlife photography success in competitions such as the Bird photographer of the year and British photography awards. 

You will need:

All camera equipment (including spare batteries, memory cards) 
a packed lunch 
stout footwear 
weather-suitable clothing 
notebook and pen.
