We’re incredibly excited to be able to welcome the team from BBC Countryfile to Carlton Marshes.
Tune in on Sunday 23rd at 7pm on BBC 1 to see how we’ve transformed former arable fields to a wetland wonder, which is already attracting a brilliant array of wildlife. Carlton Marshes is an ambitious landscape-scale project which, as the gateway to the southern Broads National Park, is hugely important for connectivity to allow wildlife to move through habitats without hinderance. With a new visitor centre due to open in September, and a network of all-weather paths, this reserve will be one of the most accessible nature reserves in the country. All thanks to a £4.1 million Heritage Lottery grant, and a phenomenal fundraising effort by members and supporters.
