Hedgehog home building at The Woolpack
Tuddenham Road
, Ipswich , Suffolk, IP4 2SH
About the event
Come and make a hedgehog home for your garden or green space and help us make a ‘Wilder Suffolk’.
One ticket equals one hedgehog home, so if you would like to make more than one please purchase the appropriate number of tickets.
We’ll have everything you need to make your hedgehog home and we’ll help guide you through the process. This event is kindly supported by The Woolpack Pub, and we are excited to host this partnership event together.
This event is an outside event, please dress for the weather.
Our wildlife homes are made using local, sustainable wood from Bridge Wood, part of Orwell Country Park in Ipswich. The non-native pine trees in Bridge Wood are gradually being removed in order to replant with native species. This will also open up other areas allowing more light through, benefitting a wealth of different species. The trees have been felled and processed by the Greenways Countryside Project along with volunteers from Ipswich Wildlife Group.
Why not pop inside before or afterwards for a drink or snack? Drinks and food are not included in the ticket price. This event is suitable for everyone; families and adults welcome.
