About the event

Join one of our Wardens for a morning walk around the reserve. Learn about the history and ecology of the Reserve, and how our team manages it for the benefit of its wildlife and people. 

This is a monthly walk with seasonal theme, discover what makes Lackford special and how management practices change through the year. For more Warden Walks, please visit our events page.

This event is aimed at adults and would be suitable for children 11+. Children need their own ticket and must be accompanied by an adult. Babies in arms/pushchairs are welcome to accompany for free.

Dogs

No dogs permitted

Dogs are not permitted in the visitor centre or on the blue Trail near the lakes or hides except for assistance dogs. However, dogs on leads are allowed on Sayer's Breck path and Church Walk.

Mobility

Our trails are typically wheelchair accessible and mostly level with a couple of steeper sections, however they are not tarmaced and can get muddy following poor weather. Please call the Centre before if you need to discuss accessibility requirements. Accessible toilet available at the Centre.
