About the event

The session is aimed at beginners wanting to have a go at linocutting and printing, using natural forms for inspiration.

Using natural forms as inspiration you will learn how to cut safely, explore types of cuts and produce a block which you can then print in a choice of colours onto a choice of coloured papers.

We will be using easy cut lino substitute and water based inks so prints should be dry enough to take home at the end of the session. An apron is advised.

Phil is a retired Art teacher with a degree in 3d design and a practising artist in ceramics, drawing, photography and printmaking.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. The cafe will be open for the duration, serving savoury food and sweet treats.
