About the event

This self-led trail around the reserve, alongside guided activity stations, will test your nest building skills, allow you to learn more about eggs in nature and give you a chance to produce some egg-cellent Easter crafts. This is an Easter egg hunt with a difference!

Please ensure your tickets are booked under the same arrival time; all children must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket. We expect the trail to take around 45 min - 1 hour.

This event is aimed at families with children aged 5+, although younger children are welcome. Babies in arms/pushchairs are welcome to attend for free when accompanying an older sibling and don't require a ticket.

Know before you go

Dogs

Assistance dogs only

Dogs are not permitted in the visitor centre or on the blue Trail near the lakes or hides except for assistance dogs. However, dogs on leads are allowed on Sayer's Breck path and Church Walk.

Mobility

This event will be based around the Kingfisher blue trail. While this trail is typically wheelchair accessible, people who use mobility aids may find it more difficult to traverse following poor weather. Please contact the Centre if you would like to discuss your specific needs. The Centre cafe and Learning Room are wheelchair accessible, and an accessible toilet is available.
