About the event
Children can visit Father Christmas in his grotto on the marshes this December.
All children will have a chance to talk to Father Christmas, have their photo taken (please bring your own camera, photographer not provided) and will receive a wildlife-themed gift. One family ticket (1 child with up to two accompanying adults) is available for each time slot (you will not share your timeslot with any other families). If you wish to bring an additional child/children, please purchase the required number of 'additional child' tickets alongside your family ticket.
The time on your ticket is the time you should arrive at the visitor centre to then walk down to the grotto. Please be aware that the grotto is located in The Lookout which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the Visitor Centre.
Suitable for children aged 0-11 years. Older siblings are welcome to attend but will not receive a gift. Please specify child's age when booking to ensure an appropriate gift is provided.
Please be aware that each family will have approximately 10 minutes with Father Christmas, regardless of the number of children you bring, so if you are a large group, you may wish to consider purchasing tickets for more than one time slot. After visiting Father Christmas you will then return to the visitor centre for festive activities.
The grotto and the walking route are fully wheelchair-accessible. Pushchairs welcome.
