About the event
Discover what lives below the watery depths of the raised pond.
Using our equipment and guided by our team of brilliant officers and volunteers learn how to dip safely and then identify your finds. Will you discover the ferocious dragonfly nymph who breathe from their bottoms, or perhaps a great diving beetle larvae who devours its prey like a big milkshake!!
Slots last 45 minutes. We take a maximum of 20 people per a slot over 5 trays. PLEASE NOTE YOU MAY BE ASKED TO JOIN OTHER PEOPLE IF YOU ARE IN A SMALLER GROUP TO SHARE EQUIPMENT, YOU ARE NOT BOOKING YOUR OWN SET OF EQUIPMENT.
There is no minimum age and as our pond is raised it is accessible to those in wheelchairs or other mobility devices.
