About the event

Join Suffolk Wildlife Trust and Suffolk Bat Group experts for a walk around Martlesham Wilds, surveying and learning about the bats that are resident at Suffolk’s new nature reserve, how we hope populations may change in the future and why these species are so important. We will also discuss what we can all do to help bats in our gardens and parks locally.

Dogs

No dogs permitted

While dogs are allowed on this reserve, on a lead, we ask that dogs aren't brought to this event.

Mobility

The footpaths are well used, but can get muddy and bumpy at times. We will walk approximately 2 miles and walking will be at a gentle pace. Unfortunately, this walk is not suitable for those unable to walk very far.

Wheelchair access

This is not suitable for wheelchairs

What to bring

Good walking shoes, suitable clothes for the weather and binoculars or a camera if you wish.
