About the event

A chance to preview the first episodes from the series, which combine interviews with locals and Marshland stories narrated by Dean, and feature the evocative voices of Suffolk actors bringing some of the tales to life.

From memories of the marshes through the seasons to village childhoods, from schools and teachers to the corner shops and lively characters, Marshland Histories records and celebrates people, places and landscape.

Dean will introduce short screenings of a selection of Marshland Histories episodes — at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 3pm. He's also curated an exhibition of photographs old and new, to illustrate the podcast series. Drop in any time, no need to book - there is limited seating space for each screening that will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Devised for Suffolk Wildlife Trust by Poetry People and made possible by Heritage Fund.
