About the event

We meet every Wednesday afternoon. Our small and welcoming group is booked in a block allowing you to make connections with other likeminded people. These sessions are designed to provide support when it comes to being a new parent (whether it is your 1st,2nd,3rd etc.) as well as providing you with nature-based skills and friendships.

The sessions run for 60 minutes. An hour of this is led by our engagement officer and then you can stay on site as long as you like to chill out in one of our many lovely engagement areas.

During the six weeks our engagement officer Sophie is on hand to guide you in how connecting with nature is good for us and good for baby. Each week we generally have some form of walk and nature skill for you to learn. This could be a craft like whittling, or it might be I.D skills or even learning how to light a fire with a flint and steel.

During the sessions we provide areas for little ones to chill out and toys for them to play with as well as experiencing the natural world around them.

Please note babies runs in all weather and we ask that you embrace it alongside us. For really cold or wet days we have an indoor space by our wood burner, but we try and get outside for at least a small part of the session.  Sometimes though if it is unsafe we will cancel and notify you by email 24 hours before. If this happens you will be offered a refund or a transfer.

We hope that you book with us and learn how even the littlest footsteps can make the biggest differences.
