Engagement Officer-led school visits

A day of nature discovery

Suffolk Wildlife Trust is by far the biggest nature educator in the county. Our commitment to outdoor learning stretches over a quarter of a century and in that time we have developed a network of Learning Centres at some of the county's best wildlife sites.

How it works

We offer expert led sessions one or two days a week at all our learning sites. A regular day visit for EYFS/KS1/KS2 costs £5.50 per child and usually runs from 10am - 2.30pm. Minimum daily cost is £150

Ipswich green spaces also offers half day sessions at £2.75 per child.

Each site offers location specific topics, each lasting an hour, which we adapt to the age and ability of your group. Choose three topics to create your outdoor learning day. 

Please ensure you have read 'Information for your visit', 'Risk Assessment' and 'Terms & Conditions' before completing your booking form.  All the specialist equipment you need will be provided to make your trip as easy and stress-free as possible. You are welcome to book a time to come for a previsit  to familiarise yourself with the area.
