A big thank you to our young warden Mason Jay!

We want to say a huge thank you to our young warden, Mason Jay (12), who has grown his hair long during Covid to donate it to The Little Princess Trust to help them create wigs for children with cancer and other conditions.

Mason has also set up a fundraising page through JustGiving with the proceeds to be kindly donated to Suffolk Wildlife Trust. He is passionate about wildlife, and is a young warden at several Trust sites, helping out at every opportunity.

He also enjoys wildlife photography and says Foxburrow is his safe space - a sanctuary during Covid he could go to. He is very excited about the plans to rewild Foxburrow and is always promoting Suffolk Wildlife Trust to people. Recently, he has been pond dipping to measure water quality at Framlingham Mere, conducting earthworm surveys at Foxburrow, restoring paths and clearing litter at Holywells Park and learning new identification skills at Redgrave and Lopham Fen. He loves building stag beetle habitats, bug hotels and bird boxes and will always help others with this.

We are grateful and proud of Mason for his inspirational actions.
