About the event

Under the tuition of two experienced basket makers, you will learn how to use the traditional corn dolly weave to create your very own dragonfly for the garden.

You will start by making a bird feeder to learn the technique, before going on to making a dragonfly.

This workshop is aimed at beginners, so no previous experience is necessary. However, some manual dexterity will be required and people with limited strength in their hands may find this weave tricky. All materials and tools will be provided. 

There is a café onsite where you can order a lunch, or bring a packed lunch. Teas and coffees will be supplied.
